Toyota was recently named the Best Global Brand among global automotive manufacturers in Interbrand’s annually ranking of the 100 Best Global Brands.  However, this leading position is not a new sensation for Toyota.  The brand also ranked first among automotive manufacturers on Interbrand’s list of Best Global brands last year.  In addition to being the top automobile manufacturer on the Best Global Brands list, Toyota holds the number 11 spot on the list overall.  This speaks to Toyota’s success as a brand even when competing against different markets. For a decade now, Toyota’s motor manufacturing plant in Huntsville, Alabama, (TMMAL) has been successfully producing engines for a multitude of Toyota vehicle models.  To date, the plant has produced 1,784,592 Toyota engines.  Toyota Corporate has been so impressed with this motor manufacturing plant that they have upped the production level and type of engine being produced at the TMMAL plant.  This increase in production will make the TMMAL plant one of the leading Toyota engine producing plants in the world. Toyota recently unveiled its newest technology for its popular line up of vehicles, including those on our Wheeling Toyota lot, and by doing so the company has proven they are “entune” with modern drivers.  Toyota has turned the now common in-dash, display screen previously used solely for Navigation systems and audio controls into a wealth of information pertinent to the most modern driver.  The name of this fancy new technology?
